TSA #29 – Leave a Nice Comment
People are all up in arms when they think I either A. wasted parts of the oranges in the making of the rolls or B. let children use sharp utensils to help make them. I actually did let the kids use knives to help make them and yes they are still alive with all their fingers and toes. Kids can do all sorts of things when you teach them how and help them do it safely.
I’ve had to edit, reply to comments, and finally add big bold disclaimers that no children were harmed in the making of the rolls and all of the parts of the oranges were enjoyed as we made them. If you are going camping this summer they are delicious and I recommend you try them.
All that said, it is nice to get a comment on a post once in a while on my site, so this weeks’ TSA is for you to leave a nice comment somewhere on the internet (doesn’t have to be TrulySimple.com).
The internet has removed social queues from interactions so people can say things anonymously without regard for how their comment comes across or is received which has created a special kind of
troll person. You can often find these gems on YouTube or any other social online community and some can be quite funny.
But this week it is your turn to make someone smile and leave a nice comment somewhere. Go find a YouTube video of someone doing something cool or find a blog post you like and say something nice.
Take a few second, leave a few kind words, and make someones’ day a little brighter.
TSA = Truly Simple Actions The goal of the TSA project is to improve your life and help make this world a better place, one simple action at a time. Take time this week to do this one simple thing.
