Inch by Inch

Inch by inch we move forward.

Each day, a little more.  Each spare moment we have we strive to be better.

This is how we grow.  This is how we get things done.   It’s hard freaking work, but this is what gets it done.

I promise not to make this entire blog about my new kid, but with the arrival the new bundle of joy, my grand plans and schemes have slowed down a bit, but never stopped.  Between taking care of the wife as she recovers and the kid when she’s resting, my time to get work done has diminished greatly, but we move forward a little at a time.

I try to read when I’m holding my boy as he sleeps.  I try to do calls when I take him and the puppy out for walks.  I try to do get done what I can when I can.  Inch by inch. Little by little.  I’m trying to keep the ball rolling and keep things moving forward.  Despite all my attempts, they don’t work all the time or as fast as I’d like them to.   It’s hardly ever as fast as I’d like, but its progress, very slow progress.

Inch by inch I will crawl forward and make things happen.  While progress right now might be slow, there is progress to be made.

Your TSA this week is to keep going.  Do something.  Anything.  Find even just 5 minutes to work toward your goal.  Never stop trying to be better.  Find any time wherever you can and get to work.  Make progress, even if it’s in small increments.

TSA = Truly Simple Actions The goal of the TSA project is to improve your life and help make this world a better place, one simple action at a time.  Take time this week to do this one simple thing. Previous TSA’s:
